Static Toolbar est un plugin wordpress permettant d’afficher une barre d’outils dans le bas de la zone d’affichage, à la manière de la barre facebook. De base, Static Toolbar fait défiler les derniers articles de blog. Mais il est possible de configurer plusieurs autres éléments :
- le flux rss
- le moteur de recherche du site
- des réseaux sociaux où retrouver l’auteur du site
- des liens pour partager la page affichée
L’affichage de la Static Toolbar est paramétrable via son taux d’opacité, la couleur de l’arrière plan ainsi que la couleur des textes.
Détail important, Static Toolbar n’est pas compatible avec Internet Explorer 6. Pour ce navigateur obsolète, le plugin se contentera de… ne rien afficher.

Awesome plugin, only issue is that individual components such as flash and even some java scripts… appear over the bar…. you can see it in action on my website http://twittrblog.comAlso another issue i have was with the social sites links… it would be real helpful to just allow the user to add the username in or at least let them know they need the full profile url… other than that…great… add a chat and you are my hero….

Thank for your comments. That’s true, the username should be enough. I’ll change it in the next version. Concerning the chat… it is a possibility, I’ll think about it!
I think flash which appears over the bar should use :
<param name= »wmode » value= »transparent »>
unfortunately… it is difficult to correct this on a generated ad.

Hi Julien, Your Plugin is really great. Only thing: Is there any possibility to put the Social Media Buttons for the Facebook Page, Twitter and Xing directliy in die Toolbar? Or is it possible to change it individually? Because some my Readers are no Social Media Profis…Thank you.Simone

très bon plugin, j’adore!!
juste une petite question au niveau du bouton « share » et « réseaux sociaux »,
est-il possible d’avoir la cible de chaque bouton (facebook, myspace, ….) qui s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre. ( genre « _blank » )
Il me semble que c’est juste un petit bout de code à rajouter mais ne l’ayant pas trouvé, je vient vers toi.

Un amélioration qui pourrait-être sympa … c’est rendre compatible la zone de recherche avec la recherche AdSense. Je pense pas que c’est réellement possible pour le moment …

Je commence tout juste à utiliser ton excellent plugin et je voulais savoir si la customisation de mes rêves était possible :
- changer les icônes
- mettre le texte en gras
- insérer une mise en avant à côté du flux : j’aimerai pousser une catégorie de mon site (ex : texte du flux | texte supplémentaire)

I want to know how I could edit the WIDTH of the icons in the toolbar. I have my own icons I want to use, but they are 25px height and 100px width. When I put them into the toolbar they are all « smashed together ».

Nevermind I figured it out. Just open up jquery.corner.js and on line 96 change the corner width from « 10″ to « 0″

Petit compte rendu après une semaine de test: Pas de bordure colorée d’affichée sous toutes les versions d’internet explorer existantes, et pas de coins arrondis pour Internet Explorer 9 qui désormais peut les gérer. La balise « -moz-border-radius » n’est également plus gérée par Firefox 4, et doit être remplacée par « border-radius ».
J’ai pu corriger pour Firefox 4 (mais désormais ça n’est plus arrondi pour firefox 3.6.x.)
Et pour Internet Explorer, je ne vois pas. Je ne suis pas assez bon en javascript. Envisagez vous une mise à jour?

P.S.: Pas de bordure ni de coins arrondis pour Opera non plus, en revanche Chrome et Safari c’est PAR-FAIT!

Hi Julien great plugin but I can’t saving my settings in Admin Panel.
I have WordPress 3.2.1 and after making changes to the toolbar it just won’t save.

I was going to donate to thank for this plugin (it is close to what i needed), then i noticed that it will not work (can not save/update options via admin panel).
I also see from comments above that the first report of this problem came « 6 mars 2010 à 18:19″ and that the author have not replied, i therefor assume that the plugin is abandoned and donations is of no use.
I have managed to change a few of the options vis phpMyAdmin, but I am not sure how to set the « sharing options » that way. Maybe som of the readers can help or even take over this plugin?

Same here Sven can’t change the Plugins colors and other features through wordpress Admin panel.
